I am slowly emerging from the stomach bug that seems to be circulating everywhere (?) at the moment. 11/10 do not recommend. Luckily I had no expectations to kick off the New Year healthy because I have a toddler, lol. Anyhoo, I asked around in my new online community and on Instagram for your favorites from 2022, whether it was a new brand, product or something I shared that you discovered and loved. I also took a look at my analytics to see what were the top sellers over the last year. Here’s what came out on top! Your favorites (and of course mine) from 2022.
Your Favorites From 2022
Saie Glowy Super Gel
No surprise that the Saie Glowy Super Gel was the number one talked about fan favorite. In fact, it’s definitely my number one favorite beauty product. I wear it everyday (Starglow in winter and Sunglow in summer). It feels so good on the skin and gives a gorgeous glow. Other favorites were Hydrabeam concealer, Saie Slip Tint and Sun Melt Bronzer.
This was definitely one of my favorite brand discoveries of 2022. Negative is a self-funded, female-founded brand focusing on intimates and basics. Their underwear, bras and whipped collection are wearable, comfortable and also chic (and best of all, washable!). The whipped turtleneck is a wardroble staple, great for layering under sweaters and blazers (the matching long underwear is amazing for keeping warm). For bras I also love the Glacé collection, especially the non-wire and triangle bra.
A lot of big Sézane fans and I’m one too! They have great basics like my fave, the Conrad tee, and also chic wardrobe staples that are the perfect blend of classic, preppy and Parisian. Sézane is also a Certified B Corp and continues to take steps towards more eco-friendly practices and utilizing sustainable materials. Check out my Sézane shopping guide here.
follain vitamin c serum
This continues to be my favorite Vitamin C serum. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky. The serum leaves my skin looking bright and radiant. Even some of my friends with super sensitive skin swear by this Vitamin C serum. I’ve skipped buying this to test other products and nothing can compete!
the hair edit detangle and massage brush
I think this is a bestseller for two years now. It’s less than $15 but this is seriously the best hair brush ever (read my full review here). If you have toddlers that hate having their hair brushed, trust me, this is your secret weapon. Any kind of hair type and texture, it works!
tatcha indigo repair overnight cream
I discovered this moisturizer when I was looking for a night cream that could handle my seriously dry winter skin. I was skeptical when it said it was a serum, moisturizer and oil in one but I have been very impressed! It has drastically reduced the amount of products I use at night and even my very dry skin feels soft and moisturized in the morning.
target hathaway rug
Not only is this rug one of my (and your) favorite finds of 2022 but I’ve noticed it in several of my friend’s houses. This Target decor round up was one of my most popular posts from last year and the rug was definitely a great find. It holds up to toddler spills, dog nails and everything in between.
ABLE Marin Sweater
This striped sweater from my ABLE collection sold out in one day! There are a few sizes that have been restocked and it runs big so I’d size down. I’m excited to work on something for next fall with ABLE in the coming weeks. It will be a much smaller collection focusing on core pieces like sweaters and blouses (and maybe a dress too!).
A gorgeous glowy highlighter for everyday wear.
A lightweight, natural finish tinted moisturizer with SPF 35.
The most gorgeous creamy bronzer for a natural sun kissed glow.
A durable rug that’s soft underfoot and comes in tons of sizes.
The softest turtleneck that’s amazing as a base layer or on its own.
A chunky ribbed knit with button detail and nautical stripes.
My favorite Vitamin C serum is lightweight and leaves skin glowing.
The best brush for detangling any and all hair types.
A rich and creamy moisturizer that’s an all in one serum, moisturizer and oil.
