Nothing says Spring quite like navy and yellow. Believe it or not it was actually warm enough to wear short sleeves, not for extended periods of time but long enough to take some pictures of this pretty Darling blouse (on sale), seriously how cute are the sleeves on this top? I wore this ensemble to a lovely brunch at Stoneacre Pantry (my new favorite Sunday spot) and I think it would a great ensemble for Easter or even the office.  I first tried on these trousers from French Connection with this navy and white striped sweater and it was that color combo that inspired me to dress it up with this feminine blouse (though I love them styled a bit more casual too). I think this mustard-yellow is so chic and sophisticated. Reminds me a bit of Mad Men. Anyone else loving mustard hues lately? It can be a tricky color but I think paired with navy and bright accessories it’s the perfect combination.

  4. i love these colors together, actually i am wearing them today, but opposite of you! i think that mustard is a difficult color because when paired with reds and pinks it can quickly look like kethcup and mustard so i tend to steer more towards the cool blues!

love the detailing of that top!
