As winter drags on I’m starting to try and get creative. The same old 14 layers under a coat thing is getting tiresome (though still necessary) so I’ve started experimenting with other ways to stay warm and still look somewhat presentable. I absolutely love this white coat from French Connection (60% off w/ code PRES60) but I wear it all the time so to give it a completely different look I layered it under this faux fur vest. Win win because it’s a lot warmer too! And to brighten up my look and make me “feel” like Spring is on the horizon I pulled out my white skinny jeans and rocked these new over the knee boots from Bluefly (they have tons of Stuart Weitzman boots on sale!). Believe it or not it really does help keep your legs warm if you wear thick socks underneath. More snow today and tomorrow but on a happier note, daylight savings is 10 days away and my warm weather getaway is 12 days away!

    I’ve been wearing OTK boots like nobody’s business this winter. Somehow the knee coverage really does make a difference. I guess there’s not much fat around knees so they’re more sensitive to cold? Or maybe I’m just making excuses because I love how OTK boots look. Not important.
