You can’t beat the location which is set right in the heart of Woodstock, easily walkable to everything in town. The rooms are comfortable and charming, and they have several that are pet friendly! There are several dining options on site, but if you happen to be visiting when Kelly Way Gardens is open it’s a must see. It’s a farm to table dinner that Craig and I had the chance to experience in September a few years ago. The meals are all created with food grown at the Gardens or local farms and the entire property and space is beautiful.

Located just outside of the village, overlooking the stunning Ottaquechee river, 506 on the River is rustic, charming and genuine. Equipped with a bistro, pool, sauna, game room, and explorer corner (playroom for kids) 506 is family friendly with a little bit of something for everyone.

Splendid 1920s Vermont Farmhouse (Airbnb/VRBO)

This charming and cozy New England farmhouse is the perfect retreat for a family gathering location, located a convenient 2.4 miles outside of the Woodstock village. This 5 bedroom farmhouse sleeps 10 and has 2 full and 1 half bathroom. Living spaces include a kitchen, living room (with a gas fireplace) and outdoor patio overlooking a pond.
