Packing For My Warm Weather Vacation

We are leaving for a short but much needed trip top Florida in a few weeks (fingers crossed there’s no Noreasters the day we fly out). After cancelling last years trip because of Covid, it has now been 4 years since we’ve gone away on a winter vacation. Four years! Hard to believe it’s been that long, needless to say we are LONG overdue. It’s a pretty quick trip but I’m just hoping for a few days of sun, sand and salty ocean swims. I am typically not an over packer, and we’re only doing carry-on bags because well, flying right now can be pretty chaotic. In terms of outfits, I’m keeping it pretty simple and casual. Here’s what I’m packing for my warm weather vacation!

What I’m Packing For My Warm Weather Vacation

Since we plan to spend most of our time at the beach I’m packing two bathing suits, this black one piece and this printed one piece (I went a size up). For coverups I like a button down or mini dress. I’m bringing this Sézane button down and this mini dress from Daughters of India. I always wear a hat and I’m packing this straw hat in a new color (I’ve had the lighter one for years). For beach and everyday sandals I’m bringing my Arizona Birkenstocks.

For outfits I’m keeping it simple too. I’m bringing this maxi dress, my AGOLDE Dee denim shorts, Madewell cotton shorts, Sézane Conrad Tee and Juan Tank, and my Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress. I’m packing these leather sandals for another shoe option and just in case it’s cooler at night or in the morning I’m bringing this striped sweater from Faherty. I also packed my Le Crop jeans from Sézane.

For a bag I’m bringing my Straw Paloma Tote from Sézane. I also like to bring my Lululemon Belt Bag for travel because it’s so easy and functions as a bag and a wallet.

That’s pretty much everything. I did get Marin a few new things because she’s had so many growth spurts since last summer. This adorable one piece and this long sleeve one (she picked them out, so cute). This sleeveless dress and this short sleeve dress, and these sandals.
