WEEKEND LINKS

Just to give you a little glimpse into my frame of mind lately, I was CONVINCED, today was Friday and it wasn’t until I got about halfway through this post that I realized it is not in fact Friday. So here’s some weekend links to enjoy, a day early. I need more coffee.

I was up way too late the other night finishing up a post and somehow ended up on the J.Crew website, funny how that happens. Their sale is pretty awesome right now and I picked up this plaid minaudière I’ve been eyeing ALL summer, these shorts and this navy silk cami.

These French Connection shoes (seen here and here) that everyone seems to love are on super duper sale right now (they are actually really comfortable-honestly).

I wore an all white outfit this week and it was pretty popular with the internet (and I scored most of it at TJ Maxx!).

Grace’s post about long distance friends hit close to home. I’ve taken a similar approach to friendships. Plus a happy girl is a pretty girl and she just looks so gorgeous in those photos.

I never quite thought of Talbots as a great place to shop (at least for myself) but this white coat that I got is simply gorgeous and only $60!

I love this post from Hallie, not only because the outfit is super cute, but because secretly it makes me feel good about the fact that I left the city and moved back to Rhode Island. I love New York, but I remember the back sweat and smelly subway all too well!

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is still going strong. It’s really hard for me to even entertain thinking about fall, BUT the fact that plaid coats are a major thing is making me very happy. I’ve also been LOVING my Brahmin Camden cross body which is part of the sale.
