Wardrobe Staples: A Tailored Blazer

Hello friends. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was actually pretty packed with household chores (weeding the garden) and meeting up with friends. We did manage to sneak in a trip to Little Compton and visit a Peony farm that I found out through a friend was open for the weekend. I wore this look (truthfully one of my all-time favorite combos) to dinner with friends on Thursday night. I literally took these jeans out of the package immediately after they were delivered and threw them on about a minute before we left. They are super comfortable and flattering. I basically lived in them all weekend (I did wash and dry them because they needed to shrink a little). I definitely recommend sizing down. I got this blazer from Reiss a few weeks ago and it is even more beautiful in person. A classic tailored blazer is something every woman should have in her closet. This one in particular is so versatile, it looks great with denim and it also looks beautiful dressed up. I wore it a few weeks ago at the Veuve Clicquot event at Ocean House with this Shoshanna dress and it completely pulled together the outfit. A tailored blazer is the type of thing you can honestly wear with almost anything, and it’s also great to have for work.
