If we’re being totally honest, I wasn’t super thrilled about Pantone’s color of the year, greenery, when it was first announced. Don’t get me wrong I can totally get on board with green, it’s one of my favorite colors to wear because I have green eyes so it makes my eye color pop. However I lean towards deeper/darker greens, earthier neutral tones. I forgot about the color almost entirely until I found this skirt at Ann Taylor and I thought I would give it a try. The interesting thing about the color is that it kind of goes with everything. With that in mind I thought I’d share two ways to wear it.
You can go subtle and incorporate greenery with a silk neck scarf like this one. Tie it around your neck or onto your handbag. Or you can go a bit more bold with a statement piece like this pleated skirt. I styled it a bit more casually but it would be perfect for work with pumps or booties and a fitted blazer and turtleneck sweater. I’m willing to give it a shot, what do you guys think?
Wow that shade of green looks stunning on you! I, myself have never been a fan of the color green on me, but the outfit you put together makes me change my mind!
Thank you so much Eliza! Btw, I love your name 🙂 I have a cousin named Eliza. xx
I usually don’t wear that color of green either. But you have convinced me that with the right pieces, it is gorgeous!
Ok, these two outfits must be my favourites among your latest looks, esp. the 2nd one, loved the skirt – sneakers match!
Love your skirt! So fab.
