Key West was the best place to try out some spring trends. This time of year I’m always in a bit of a style rut because it’s freezing cold and I’m sick of wearing ten thousand layers. The warm sunny weather in Key West was just the break I needed. I’m a bit surprised to say one of my favorite trends for spring is yellow. If you asked me to name my favorite colors I wouldn’t mention that hue, but there’s something fun and lighthearted about this shade. In the form of a feminine lace dress it’s very wearable.
Now to the shoes. Look out for lots of lace-ups again this spring. I love this blush suede pair from L.K. Bennett. They’re really comfortable too. If you’re looking for a lower heel I also brought these Sam Edelman sandals with me to Key West. With a dress, skirt or cropped hem jean lace-ups are a great shoe for spring. I’ve shared some more of my favorites at the bottom of the post.
