Running May 12-July 14, 2023, this guided tour takes you to four mansions with an in-depth behind the scenes look at various locations where the HBO hit series “The Gilded Age” was filmed. The tour is 3.5 hours, 1:15-4:45pm.

This tour requires tickets be purchased in advance.

The Chinese Tea House Café at Marble House

Newport Mansions has partnered with Stoneacre Restaurants for a unique dining experience at the iconic Chinese Tea House, located on the grounds of Marble House above the historic Cliff Walk. Enjoy brunch or afternoon tea service in the Tea House with a prix fixe menu including a tea tower, complete with savories, sweets and tea. Reservations required, you can make one here.

You must have proof of admission to the mansions or a Preservation Society membership to make a reservation.

The Breakers

The Breakers mansion is the most grand of the Newport mansions. It’s the largest and most opulent with incredible views of the Atlantic. If you are only visiting one mansion, consider the Breakers.

Bring a picnic

Did you know you can bring a picnic to enjoy at the Newport mansions? Available at any open property during tour hours (this does not include Rough Point), Newport Mansions tour ticket holders and Preservation society members are invited to bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds.
