Velvet Satin Dress Prosecco & Plaid Dallas-6

PHOTOGRAPHY BY CRAIG MACKAY

SLIP DRESS (ALSO IN BLACK) / SANDALS / Y NECKLACE / JEAN JACKET

We had a warm welcome to Dallas, pun intended, with beautiful weather, friendly people and lots of queso (I may be regretting that last part right about now). Craig and I explored the neighborhood near our hotel yesterday, we’re staying at the Joule and it’s absolutely beautiful. It feels like an NYC boutique hotel in Dallas. We walked over to Deep Ellum a very cool neighborhood about a mile away. Throughout the neighborhood there are painted murals everywhere, you almost can’t walk by a wall without seeing artwork. For a very hot day (no complaining here) I wore this slip dress with leather sandals. The slip dress has to be one of my favorite trends for spring. The flowy fit is perfect for this hot weather. I brought a jean jacket because anytime you go inside it’s freezing. Today is a full day of the conference and meetings followed by dinner at a BBQ place nearby. Happy Friday!
