The Best Snack Foods at Trader Joe's

Trader Joe’s is the best. It’s so good that as Vermonters, we literally drive an hour and a half, sometimes weekly, to stock up on our favorite Trader Joe’s staples. Some of our favorite Trader Joe’s staples come in the snack aisle. Snacks are so good because they are easy to eat on the go and taste super yummy. We have a little bit of everything on our list today from sweet to savory to spicy and tart– you can’t go wrong and it simply can’t be beat. Whether you are grabbing a snack for the kids before their soccer game or need something to munch on in the car for your next trip, we’ve got your covered with the best of Trader Joe’s snacks.

The Best Snack Foods at Trader Joe’s

Dried Fruits

Dried fruits are a delicious sweet (and sometimes spicy) snack and also great for on the go. Great for a mid-day pick me up or car rides when you need something to much on. We especially love:

Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets

When it comes to snacks, the Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets seem to be a crowd favorite. The perfect mixture of salty and sweet with that delicious peanut butter filling just can’t be beat!

Flavored Nuts

Trader Joe’s has an amazing selection of flavored nuts. Nuts are a great nutritious snack and can also be thrown into salads or taken on the go. With everything from Almond Butter Almonds and Guara Almonds to Dry Roasted and Salted Pistachios or Garlic & Onion Pistachios (for some extra flav) – there is so much to choose from that will suit every taste! More favorites:

Dark Chocolate Everything

I’m a loyal dark chocolate lover and Trader Joe’s delivers. Whether you like your dark chocolate mixed with peanut butter, pretzels, sunflower seeds or plantain chips, everything is simply better with dark chocolate so you truly can’t go wrong. More favorites:

Cheese & Crackers

The Garlic Bread Cheese is where it’s at. Don’t leave Trader Joe’s without it. This is basically delicious rich cheese, covered in garlic powder and baked to get its beautiful golden-brown hue. Trader Joe’s also has great cracker options at an affordable price. Like the Fig and Olive Crisps, which are so delicious and make a perfect addition to a charcuterie board. If you were a childhood Ritz Bitz fan, you will love Trader Joe’s Mini Cheese Sandwich Crackers. Here’s more of of our favorites:

Chips & Dips

If you haven’t already tried Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel items you are missing out. With everything from their seasoning to the Everything and the Elote Greek Style Yogurt Dip and Everything But the Bagel Seasoned Kettle-Cooked Chips it’s all so flavorful and delicious and brings all the everything bagel feels in fun new ways. Our favorite chip staples include:

Dips

Some other favorites for dips include:

Sweets

I don’t know about you, but I am such a sucker for sweets and Trader Joe’s just has way too many delicious goodies to choose from. It’s actually quite dangerous. These Belgian Butter Waffle Cookies are so yummy and make a fancy and delicious addition to an ice cream desert. Try some s’mores with these Cinnamon Graham Crackers and tell me it isn’t the most delicious thing you’ve ever tasted. We’ve also heard the Chocolate Mousse Eggs are out of this world but only available seasonally and in certain stores. Keep your eyes peeled! Some more of our favorites:

I want to be buried with the chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches, I will make a meal out of their cut mango (I swear it lasts longer than any other cut mango), I live for the olive oil popcorn & kettle corn and the sea salted caramel balls and cookie butter sandwich cookies I would cut some one for.

The Birds Nests make an amazing appetizer, and I also love the açaí bowls and the mango crème ice pops! The movie night popcorn is perfect with a sprinkling of truffle salt on there! I also love their little containers of quacamole and their smoked salmon. My kids go nuts for the yellow cake with frosting. It’s usually gone in one day!

And when I’m making spaghetti bolognese for dinner I use their Mirepoix and their pancetta – both take the meat sauce up a couple of notches!!
