Styling the Camel Wool Blazer

I can’t believe this is my first outfit post of 2018. It’s been a while, felt good to get back in the saddle! Haha. When I asked all of you at the end of last year what type of content you wanted to see I got a lot of requests for style posts that featured a) affordable pieces b) items that can be worn multiple times and c) pieces that I consider “wardrobe staples.” So it’s quite fitting that my first collaboration of the year is with Ann Taylor. They are one of my favorite places to shop for classic pieces that are wearable in various settings. This camel wool blazer is the perfect example of what I’d consider a wardrobe staple. There are so many ways to wear it, while I styled it more casually with denim, it’s a great wear to work piece with a dress or trousers. It just so happens when I shot this look it was an unusually warm day where I could get away with wearing it on it’s own, but you can also layer it underneath a classic wool coat. When it’s warmer (will that ever happen?) style it with a basic tee and jeans. The color is a great neutral that you can pair with just about anything, I love the mix of pinks and grays in this look. As promised, I’m going to style this blazer two more times so you can see a few different ways to wear it!
