Style and Function with Hybrid Smartwatches

One of the things that has always kept me from really loving a smartwatch (and Craig too) is that they have to be charged. It’s just one of those things I inevitably always forget to do, and then I just stop using the watch, because it’s one more thing I have to charge. So when Fossil sent us their hybrid smartwatches to try out we were very intrigued. No charging required. I picked the Fossil Q Tailor Leather Strap Smartwatch and Craig chose the Fossil Q Nate Hybrid Stainless Steel Smartwatch. They were so easy to set up and sync with our phones, and then we got to playing around with all of the functionalities. My favorite features are the activity tracker and the music control. Yes, you can control the music on your phone with the watch. Once I downloaded the app my phone connected seamlessly with the watch, automatically updating the time and date (there’s also a second time zone option).

Wanna take a selfie? You can use a button on your watch to do that, along with track your sleep and get smartphone notifications. One of my goals for the New Year is to stay active, so I’m definitely looking forward to tracking my activity. You also have the option to change up your strap if you want, though I really love my light leather strap against the rose gold details. Definitely a great gift option for the holidays or a nice way to kick off the New Year.
