Crazy to think we’re already getting days in August that are cool enough for sweaters and jeans but this was the perfect ensemble for a dinner date the other night. I couldn’t be happier that lace up flats are still very much on trend for this fall and I am obsessed with this pair from Nordstrom (such a steal for under $150). There are several pairs available in the anniversary sale including these for under $60 (in 6 colors) and my all time faves, the Stuart Weitzman Tyler Wraparound Flats. Another thing I am loving for fall is the straight leg jean. Definitely a new silhouette for me but I find it very flattering and a nice change from my go-to skinny jean. Particularly great for wearing with lace up flats or ankle booties for fall. This stripe sweater and straw hat keeps the look feeling summery but swap them out for this cashmere turtleneck and wool hat I’m loving this combo for fall. The simplicity of the scalloped blouse tank with cuffed jeans and strappy heels is awesome. I need to expand into this a little more. Dark wash skinnies, black gingham, cream sweater, plaid blanket scarf, black Tory Burch tote and flats.
