SKINNY JEANS AND SNEAKERS
Historically I have not been a fan of sneakers. In fact I tend to avoid them at all costs. One of the main reasons I love barre and yoga is because they’re a “no sneaker required” form of exercise. I’m not sure when exactly my relationship with sneakers fell apart, for years I wore them quite often, including high school where I played tennis and volleyball (and therefore owned many pairs of sneakers) but somewhere along the way we broke up, and I’ve done everything in my power to distance myself. Craig gave me these Nike Free 5.0 Running Shoes for Christmas to my surprise (I did drop a subtle hint that I wanted a “cool” pair of sneakers) and to my astonishment I became quite fond of them . The bright color and leopard print made them feel more chic than your average running shoe. I gave them a test drive on my recent weekend in the City because I knew we’d be walking a lot given my cousin’s LES address and I was SO happy I did (as were my feet and lower back). I don’t think I’ll be running out (no pun intended) and filling my closet with sneakers anytime soon, but I am happy these found their way into my wardrobe.

I’m not usually a sneaker girl either, just for running! Love the print of these nikes, so fun and different. Though I’m loving your two plaids!
