Hope everyone had a great weekend. We spent a lot of it working, trying to get ready to leave for a very quick work trip this week. Don’t feel too bad though we made time for swimming and grilling dinner outside, is there anything better? I have been living in these jeans, seriously (styled here), and the overall consensus seems to be that the ladies love them and the guys don’t understand them. Which got me thinking, why is it that we love ripped jeans? The more holes the better, am I right? I think it has something to do with the fact that they feel more lived in. Not only do they look effortless but they feel effortless. Which I guess is a bit of a matter of opinion, I can understand why my grandparents think it’s silly to buy jeans with holes, but it won’t stop me from wearing them. There’s just nothing like throwing on a pair of jeans that feel like I’ve had them for years when I bought them a week ago. With heels, sneakers, flats, it’s an effortlessly chic look that’s hard to beat. And can we talk about this metallic sweater? I’ve worn this too many times to count (with denim shorts here). It’s gorgeous dressed up or down and I will certainly be taking this gem right into fall with me.
