Notice anything different? Yes, new blog design but also, new camera! I finally bit the bullet (with huge help from Dad- Happy Birthday to me) and got the Canon EOS Rebel t3i and oh my god what a difference. These outfit pictures were the first time Craig and I used the camera so we had no clue what we were doing but it is honestly amazing. I’ll talk more about it later in the week and if you’re curious we are using the 50mm f/1.8 lens.
So, about this Gypsy05 dress, I am obsessed. The color, the velvet, the open back, it is perfection. If only it weren’t freezing out it would be sooo good with bare legs or tights but it was too cold so I threw on my coated J Brands instead which I think actually brings out the aubergine color in the dress. It has a bohemian, rocker vibe going on which makes it perfect for a concert or holiday party in the city (hello Kings of Leon in February). Thanks to Gypsy05 they are giving Prosecco and Plaid readers an exclusive 15% discount site wide with code PROSECCO. They have so much cute stuff. I love this maxi dress (particularly for you LA girls) and these adorable shorts (so cute with tights). This dress is so cozy it may just end up being my Christmas Eve outfit!

That dress is so gorgeous! And hurrah you finally got the camera!! Adam and I seriously love ours (the 50mm lens makes it) and agreed with Emily – you rarely get a bad shot.
