This plaid cape is the perfect piece for layering. It’s lightweight, soft and reversible. For cooler days it’s great layered over a sweater and a vest or light jacket, and if the weather is mild it’s cozy over a long sleeve tee or turtleneck. Not to mention it comes in the prettiest colors, I love the blue version too. And it’s the perfect traveling companion, I don’t know about you but I get so cold on planes and trains! This will definitely be coming with me to Paris. It would make the perfect gift. And speaking of gifts, I started my holiday gift guide which you can find here. Happy Tuesday!

Hi Jess… I discovered your blog about a week ago and I’ve enjoyed checking it daily to see what beautiful outfit you’ll be wearing and where you’ll be shooting in Newport, my favorite place in the world. I lived on Elm Street years ago when I was in the Navy and go back at least once a year to visit. Your style is sassy and you choose great backgrounds that compliment the outfits. Enjoying your blog!
