How To Wear A Tunic Sweater
By Jess
26 Feb 2014

When I spotted this ribbed navy pencil skirt at TJ’s I snatched it up in EVERY color (ok so it only comes in black and navy but I bought both). Lucky for me I also found matching crop tops for both skirts (and naturally purchased both) but it’s just a tad bit chilly for bare midriffs these days so the matching sets will have to wait until the spring (whenever that season decides to show up). For now I styled it with this super cozy pink cashmere sweater (also from TJ Maxx) that I’ve practically been living in since I bought it last week on clearance (for $20 – yeah I know I honestly couldn’t believe it either). Given my irrational fear of being too girly I added the beanie and denim shirt to dress the look down a bit. In case you haven’t noticed I’ve been wearing a lot of navy lately (seen here, here and here) and I’m pretty into it. It’s a great neutral that goes with practically EVERYTHING. And on that note, we made it to Wednesday folks, Happy Hump Day!

Navy and pink is really one of my favorite color combinations– and the addition of neon? Just makes it a bit fun, doesn’t it?! Can’t wait to see the sort with the cropped tops once it warms up 🙂
