My Favorite Loungewear

How To Wear A Tunic Sweater

I know I’m late to the loungewear party but trust me I’m well versed in the loungewear department at this point. From an awful pregnancy to postpartum to being quarantined at home I have basically been in some form of loungewear at least 75% of the time for almost a year. By the end of my pregnancy all I could think about was the excitement of wearing jeans again, but a few weeks into quarantine and that novelty started to wear off.

There’s no better time to take advantage of being able to wear cozy stuff all day long. And yes I have my daytime and my nighttime sweats. Marin has been living in loungewear too and I’m realizing I have been playing favorites with this onesie from Hannah Anderson (the long sleeve is sold out). It’s just so cute! Here are some of my favorite loungewear pieces I’ve been wearing lately.

MATE – I’ve been a huge fan of MATE since their launch. They have really cute tees, sweats and hoodies all made in Los Angeles with organic materials. They also use recyclable materials for all of their shipping boxes. My favorites are the vintage boxy crew, the classic jogger, the Kayden kick crop flare, and the vintage pullover. I typically go at least one size up in MATE (small bottoms and medium tops).

Threads4Thought – I pretty much lived in these joggers (small) during my pregnancy. Their organic cotton tees are super soft too. Craig is SUPER picky and loves their men’s tees and joggers too.

Aerie – I picked out these leggings for a recent collab with Aerie and they are the softest things on the planet. They’re made from recycled polyester and are so comfortable. They looked SUPER tiny but they’re really stretchy so an xs was a good fit for me. These sweats (small) and this cropped sweatshirt (medium) are cozy favorites too.

Eileen Fisher – For chic pieces that feel like loungewear but look put together Eileen Fisher is my go to. This linen jumpsuit is breezy and comfortable and I love this linen tee. Sizing runs big I usually recommend going at least 2 sizes down (I typically wear xxs). I did an IGTV here with some favorites for spring.

Serena & Lily – I just treated myself to a pair of these linen pajamas from Serena & Lily after being influenced seeing them all over Instagram. They just look so chic AND cozy and I’m such a sucker for anything linen. I got them in wild rose (they’re 20% off right now with code ATHOME).

Culk – A friend and small business owner makes some of my favorite sweats. The rainbow sweatshirt is super cozy and the be gentle crewneck is also one of my faves. I usually wear a small or medium for slightly oversized fit.

Lake Pajamas – I guess I’m starting to blur the line between pjs and loungewear but I can’t not post about Lake Pajamas. They are the softest coziest pjs ever and always my go-to gift for new moms. I have several short sets and long sets as well as the robe. They do shrink so I get a small, wash in cold water and dry on low.
