Yes! The leaves were already starting to turn in Woodstock when we were there mid-September and it was GLORIOUS. It was also a little bit of a shock to the system when I woke up and it was 40 degrees but it also felt refreshing and invigorating. I just love that crisp fall air. One of the things I’m looking forward to the most about being up in Vermont is getting to spend more time outdoors.

Today I’m partnering with Backcountry and ShopStyle to share some of my favorite Fall trends with styles perfect for the outdoors. You can also get 15% off full-price items on your first order with code JESSANN15. Backcountry is also having a winter clearance sale with up to 60% off gear and apparel. There’s some amazing deals on snowboards, boots, skis, goggles etc. I’m in the market for snow pants and I really like this waterproof insulated pair from North Face.

My Fall Style Favorites for the Outdoors

Backcountry carries the some of my favorite outdoors brands like Patagonia, Prana, Blundstone and Marmot. I’ve been wearing this Patagonia Jacket non-stop. I love that it’s super lightweight but warm (this color is Sage Khaki and I’m wearing a Medium). It’s great for a walk or hike but also looks good for walking around town. I want to mention I am holding my mask here but we wore them everywhere. I got these masks (stripe for me and the fish design for Craig) made in the USA with 100% recycled materials and they are amazingly comfortable. The fabric is super soft and they’re easily washable.

My Fall Style Favorites for the Outdoors

I got a pair of Blundstone boots (in Rustic Black) last year from Backcountry and they are so awesome. Comfortable for walking and hiking, stylish, and will keep your feet warm and dry. Craig really likes slip on boots so I got him a pair too (in Rustic Brown) and he was super impressed (and he’s SO picky). We all know how much Craig loves having his photo taken but he was willing to take one for the team to show off his new Patagonia flannel jacket. Seriously I was jealous because it’s cozy and soft made with 100% organic cotton flannel and recycled poly lining.

These Patagonia leggings are also awesome for fall, lightweight but very warm.

They’re also sustainably made with recycled polyester. I think these will keep me warm through the winter and can also be used as a base layer under snow pants. I brought my Hydro Flask along for our walk and this is my third water bottle from them. They’re great at keeping beverages cold and the wide mouth makes them easy to clean. I have the larger one too which I always bring on longer road trips so I don’t have to buy plastic water bottles.

Once we bring Marin up to Vermont she’ll be cozy in this Patagonia fleece. I got her these little booties too. Backcountry is a great spot for all your outdoor needs and stylish finds for fall. These are some of my favorite fall trends for all your outdoor adventures. Who else is so excited for fall foliage?

So cute. I wish I needed a jacket here in Florida. I got a Corally pink sale down jacket from a good brand 2 years ago and I wore it so much in Maine and RI. I’m so nuts that I can’t fly there for fall or could live there again. Right now if you can believe this, we got home from our first flood on the Eve of September 8 th and the morning of the 9th, we awoke to 6 inches of water in the kitchen and dining room. It is a burst hot water pipe different area. We are back to the rental and essentially losing 3 rooms . Kitchen with plaid wallpaper and pretty wide wood flooring. Also the lower kitchen cabinets and will need painting in the living area and dining room .. I wish that I could have your taste knowing exactly what Cabinet colors to use on lower cabinets and other walls. Oh, I so wish I was there! You look so cute! A covered bridge. I had one nearby too that I drove through every day! So charming! Great pictures, great fall look as always ❤️

Hey Jess! Love the post. Given our shared love of all things Patagonia and the positive environmental impact of buying used, I’d be excited to see you feature Patagonia Worn Wear on your site to help spread the word about giving new life to gently used Patagonia pieces at an affordable price. I tried the service this summer after their Nano Puff sold out immediately in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and it was the first time I’d ever heard of this service. I ended up buying a like new Nano Puff originally sold from the Spring 2020 collection for 50% off, which was awesome 🙂 https://wornwear.patagonia.com/

Oh my gosh thanks for reminding me about this! I’ve bought a few pieces of used baby Patagonia off eBay (because it’s rather pricey for something he will probably only fit for a season!). Looks like there is not a lot of baby stuff on their website but I will keep it in mind as he grows.

I just got the Patagonia leggings featured here and in your other Backcountry post…they are AMAZING! They’re thick (but not too thick) and love the ribbed waist. GREAT recommendation. Thank you!
