Mohair Travel Jacket and Flare Corduroys

The leaves are hanging around for a little while longer around here and they are brighter and more beautiful than ever. For comfy, casual weekend wear this mohair travel jacket is great to layer. This look is inspired by a photo I saw of Olivia Palermo recently, I know I have such a girl crush (see the other look of hers I recreated here). I had my fave makeup artists and hair stylist Jennie Kay recreate the beauty look which was slightly glow with a smokey eye and nude lip. I love this look for a holiday party, it’s very subtle but glamorous at the same time. I’m not one to wear flare corduroys (or any corduroys for that matter) but these were so comfortable and flattering, another great option for holiday style. I’ve seen a ton of mohair jackets recently and I love them for fall/winter. There are some great “look-alike” options too.
