Midi Slip Dress

8 Sep 2020

This midi slip dress I got from Anthro last year is one of those pieces that I normally wouldn’t look at twice and I’m still not sure why I picked it out (I think because I was pregnant and could only wear loose clothing). It ended up being one of my favorite things in my wardrobe. It’s so easy and comfortable, and looks great layered under a sweater or on its own, which makes it the perfect item for today’s theme “Dress it Up.” I searched and searched and searched for a similar style and finally found this sustainable option from Verishop. It’s made from washable silk which is even better!

For today’s theme I am partnering with Rochelle the woman behind the blog Beauticurve. I had the pleasure and privilege of meeting Rochelle a few years back during a trip to Louisville for a collaboration with Cafe Appliances. I have been following her ever since. She is a kind and sweet soul with amazing style and some incredible brand collaborations including her own line with Lane Bryant. Rochelle also just announced she is pregnant with her second child! I’m so happy for her and her growing family. Rochelle’s charity of choice for my donation on her behalf is Autism Speaks, which is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the life span, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Thank you Rochelle!
