Midi Dresses for Summer

How To Wear A Tunic Sweater

I think this might be the summer of dresses. They’re so easy and effortless I find myself reaching for a dress most days. I’ve always loved a midi length dress because they’re so easy to style and wear. Work, the beach, going out to dinner, even just running errands, it’s classic and chic without feeling too fussy. I rounded up a few of my favorite midi dress styles for summer that are light, breezy and versatile. Are you feeling a pull towards dresses too? Months of staying inside have me wanting to dress up a bit!

Midi Dress for Summer

Madewell Gingham Sweetheart Midi Dress

This dress is comfortable, great quality and really cute. I wear it at least once a week. It fits pretty true to size (maybe a little big) and it’s machine washable. Shown above with these Madewell sandals.

Sézane Zarri Dress

An organic cotton, linen blend this midi dress from Sézane is a breezy, gorgeous white dress for summer (it also comes in black and yellow). I love the v-shaped back detail and the embroidery. So pretty for any occasion casual or dressy.

Hill House Home Ellie Nap Dress

Can you tell I’m excited about the nap dress? I can’t stop talking about it so I really hope it lives up to the hype. The newest drop features their Ellie nap dress in an artist designed custom print. I love the ruffle detail and smocking. They have sizes for little girls too. I ordered one for Marin.

Reformation Talita Dress

I love the updates 90s feel to this dress with the tiny floral print. It has smocking in the back with adjustable tie straps. Perfect for beach to dinner or a backyard BBQ.

Amour Vert Knit Dress

This striped midi dress looks very similar to one I got several years ago that I still absolutely love. It’s super comfortable and easy for hot summer days. This one comes with an adjustable waist tie.

Handmade Linen Wrap Dress (Etsy)

I love the silhouettes from this shop I found on Etsy. This linen wrap dress looks so breezy and comfortable for summer. It has thousands of 5 star reviews. There’s a gorgeous variety of colors to choose from too.

What size did you get in the Madewell gingham checked midi dress if if rubs big? Big under the arm holes. Can you wear a bra with it? Thanks
