LIGHT LAYERS: DENIM ON DENIM

How To Wear A Tunic Sweater

J Brand Jeans// J.Crew Chambray Shirt// Forever21 Vest (similar here and here)// Gypsy05 Blouse ℅ (currently on sale + 15% off w/ code PROSECCO) also available here// Banana Republic Cashmere Scarf// Sole Society Booties// Vintage Vuarnet Sunglasses (similar here and here)

This furry vest from Forever21 is perfect for layering. I’ve worn it a few times with a jacket (see here) but it wasn’t frigid so I threw on some light layers underneath for our dinner and a movie date. We saw American Hustle and I was pleasantly surprised (not that I was expecting it to be bad but let’s just say I was pessimistically optimistic). Jennifer Lawrence is not in the film nearly as much as the previews make it seem but I was dying over the clothes (literally made me want to leave the theater and go thrift shopping) and I absolutely loved the music, great soundtrack. Has anyone seen any other good movies lately? I’ve got a few others on my list so would love recommendations!

I love the combination of black denim with chambray. It’s a fun and different take on the canadian tuxedo.
