My Kelly Way Garden Party in Woodstock

I couldn’t resist sharing some photos and a recap from my garden party at Kelly Way Gardens in Woodstock a few weeks ago. It was such a magical night and after a forecast of rain for the entire week prior, we ended up having the most spectacular evening outside with the sun shining and not a single drop of rain. It was so wonderful to gather old friends and meet so many new ones. I was nervous leading up to the event. But my nerves faded away as the night went on (and after I got my toast over with, lol).

Everyone looked absolutely stunning and summery. It was hot! I wore a skinny strap poof dress by Coco Shop (they have the most amazing prints) with block heels from Alohas (get $20 off with this link). I also have to admit I really loved an excuse to dress up for a night. As I feel like those occasions are far and few between these days.
We spent the night sipping speciality cocktails, The Bee’s Knees with gin, lemon juice and Kelly Way Gardens honey syrup. And also Berry Basil Margaritas with muddled garden berries and basil. On the menu, the chef and his team made heirloom tomato flatbreads with ingredients straight from the gardens. Along with vegetable hand rolls and vermont goat cheese toasts. Dessert was a mix of cookies, mini cheesecakes and lavender macarons.
The gardens were absolutely incredible and we were able to walk around and get a tour, including my favorite, the gourd tunnel.
Kelly Way has everything from vegetables and fruits to flowers and it was showing off for the party. The Kelly Way team and master gardener do an incredible job planning and maintaining the space.
The cocktail party was mostly outside under the grape vines in the gardens. And we moved inside to the Red Barns for dessert before everyone left with their Follain Discovery set (by the way it has everything you need and makes such a good gift!).
The night was filled with laughter, great conversation and good music (here’s the playlist). It confirmed what I already knew, that this community is full of incredible people. And I hope to have the opportunity to do more events like this in the future.
