I’ve found that earth tones tend to get the same reaction as pastels. People either love them or hate them, and some feel they “can’t” wear them because it doesn’t flatter their skin tone or they’re too boring. I have to disagree. Light tans, brown and green can look sophisticated and chic, and they’re easy colors to work into your existing wardrobe. If you’re looking to add a blanket scarf to your fall/winter wardrobe, I love this lighter color. Yes, it’s big and cozy but the soft neutral also goes with pretty much everything. Also a great travel companion (basically a blanket for flights). It compliments the earthy green color of this cozy knit sweater and wool moto jacket. Yes I got this jacket in both colors (styled the gray here). Deep blues are a nice compliment to earth tones so denim is an easy go-to. Another really pretty color that seems to be popping up more and more is mustard. A more subdued yellow shade that’s perfect for fall and looks pretty with tans, shades of brown and earthy greens. I love this faux fur jacket in a yellowish-green. You can of course always play it safe with camel, need some outfit inspo? See this post from a few weeks ago.

Earth tones are the absolute best! Like you said, tans and deep greens are so chic and I think flattering on most skin tones.

I like the scarf combined with the sweater!! I’m a big fan of neutral tones like grey, but I have to improve at earth tones. Great inspo!! Have a nice day!
