Craig and I re-decorate our apartment often. With his carpentry skills and my obsession with utilizing every corner of our tiny apartment (I guess it’s become less of an obsession and more of a necessity) we are always looking for new ways to make our space feel cozy but not cramped. One trick is to keep as much as possible off the floor, so Craig has built lots of shelving and garment racks for me throughout our apartment. Our latest project was our bedroom, and I was super excited to team up with Nautica to give it a little makeover. I absolutely fell in love with this bedding because of it’s beachy bohemian vibe that completely brightens our bedroom. I love the subtle hints of grey throughout that add just the right amount of color. Throughout the room we have little pieces from our travels (a glass jar from Paris, a painting from a flea market in LA) and a few things we’ve found on the beach in the summer (Craig built the shelf above our bed out of driftwood and the shoe shelves from old dresser drawers and old shutters). As you may be able to tell there’s lots of spring pastels and neutrals in my closet, just need to wait another 2 months before I can wear any of them! This month I’m also curating a guest Pinterest board here with Nautica that has lots of nautical and coastal inspiration so be sure to check it out. Happy Friday! xx
