Holiday Party Outfit (with Pants)

This blog post is in partnership with Sézane.
I must admit living in Woodstock, VT makes it very easy to get in the holiday spirit. The entire village is adorned with twinkling lights, garland, and festive decorations. If you visit the town during the holidays, don’t miss The Woodstock Inn (where we took these photos). It’s so beautifully decorated. I am really excited for this holiday season, especially because there are some fun parties on the calendar. Craig and I have a few date nights planned, there’s a girls night holiday party, a pre NYE dance party and several others. Needless to say I am also very excited about dressing up for the season.
While I do love dresses, I am a pants girl. It’s what I feel most comfortable in, and in snowy, cold Vermont it keeps me warm too. Whether it’s darker dressy denim like this pair, pleated wide leg trousers or knit pants, there are plenty of really chic ways to wear pants for the holidays.

Holiday Party Outfit With Pants

I will most likely end up wearing this sequin top to every holiday party on my calendar because it’s just perfect. It’s super comfortable, fully lined (warm), and the color is so festive (it sold out fast but sign up to get restock alerts!). If you love the sequin top look check out this Melo Blouse which comes in a gorgeous navy color. This embroidered blouse is another one of my favorites to dress up a pair of pants.
These wide leg pleated fluid pants are so chic. I really love the earth tone floral print and elastic waist. They’re very comfortable and look great dressed up with sequins or paired with a blouse and camel sweater for something more classic. I wear them with a low heel because the inseam is 31 inches (something to keep in mind).

This long wool coat has been amazing for cold weather dressing. It looks so chic and the longer length helps keep me warm on chilly days and nights. This new vintage blue color is so gorgeous. The green sequins and navy feels festive while the floral pants add a romantic vibe. For parties and dinner dates I’ve been wearing the Clark bag. The gold strap gives it a vintage look and dresses up any outfit.
I’m just wondering how many times I can repeat this outfit before someone notices. Do you have any holiday parties coming up? Let me know in the comments if you need some outfit ideas!

I’ve been eyeing these pants. Tried the polka dot ones on in store and they are SO comfy and cute, but not a big polka dot person. But this earthy tone floral print? Count me in!
