Holiday Gift Guide for Her
It wasn’t until I started working on this that I remembered how long these guides take, haha (painful forced laugh). It can be challenging to come up with thoughtful gift ideas that are applicable for a variety of people and budgets but I always try to find something for everyone. Most of my picks for this gift guide are things I’ve given or received and truly love and enjoy. The gifts I love to give are ones that have something special to them, whether it’s giving the person something new to experience or an item they might not treat themselves to. I hope these gift ideas will serve up some inspiration for all the friends, moms, sisters, cousins, aunts, co-workers, bosses and any other ladies on your list this season. I’ve also highlighted if an item is sustainably made or the brand is woman-owned.
Holiday Gift Guide for Her
One. Cashmere Scarf (Sustainable)
Nothing like the gift of cashmere, and even better when it’s responsibly and sustainably sourced. It’s also very reasonably priced. Such a great piece for winter but cashmere wraps are also awesome for travel.
Two. Cashmere Hat (SUSTAINABLE)
A super cozy and soft beanie from the same brand, this makes a great gift for anyone in a cold climate. It comes in several beautiful colors. Everlane also just came out with a recycled cashmere beanie for a nice sustainable gift option.
Three. Meaningful Jewelry (woman-owned/small business)
Two of my favorite places to buy jewelry as gifts are Missoma London and Lazuli Handcrafted. Both are female founded (Lazuli is a local small business) and both have beautiful pieces with intention behind them. This is a beautiful set from Missoma, I have the gold rising sun medallion that I wear all the time. Missoma also has really beautiful pieces you can personalize. The seashell charm necklace is one of my favorites from Lazuli and I have a bunch of her stacking rings.
Four. Original Artwork by Lovici (WOMAN-OWNED/SMALL BUSINESS)
I am such a huge fan of Catherine’s work, I’ve purchased several prints (the Monstera, Ocean Evening, and Away are just a few) and and I absolutely love every, single one. Her artwork makes such a great gift and it’s always nice to support small, female-owned businesses too.
Five. The Astrology of You and Me
This is one of those books that makes a great gift for so many people, friends, your boss, family, a co-worker, I actually keep several copies on hand if I need a last minute gift. It offers help and guidance for navigating relationships and situations based on star signs and it’s a great read for anyone that likes astrology. The author of this book also wrote the best-selling book The Secret Language of Birthdays.
Seven. Animal Spirit Deck and Guidebook (WOMAN-OWNED)
This is a great deck to use on your own for self-reflection or for fun with a group of people. I love using it if I see a recurring animal, to learn more about the potential meanings behind that. The deck has beautiful drawings and lots of insight into relationships, personalities, and behaviors as well as how we are all connected.
Eight. MZ Wallace Tote (WOMAN-OWNED)
I’m a huge MZ Wallace fan and the metro tote has been one of my favorites for a few years now. It’s particularly great for travel because it can fit so much stuff but it’s also incredibly lightweight, packable, and washable. Whether using it for a carry-on or a weekend bag it makes a really nice gift for anyone that’s on the go. I got the Max tote and Metro backpack to use as diaper bags.
Nine. Silk Pillowcase
I splurged on this as a gift to myself a while ago and it was such a good decision. And I wondered if it was actually worth the price but I am here to tell you, it definitely is. I ended up buying a second so I always have one in rotation. It’s cooling and soothing on the skin, super breathable, better for your skin and eliminates bed head.
Ten. Silk Sleep Mask
This is one of my favorite little luxuries. It’s such a lifesaver for helping me fall and stay asleep and I NEVER travel without it. It makes a great gift, I love pairing it with a nice pillow spray and a jade roller.
Eleven. Indie Lee Discovery Kit (WOMAN-OWNED)
A great way to introduce someone on your list to clean beauty. This kit has three favorites from Indie Lee, the CoQ-10 Toner, Squalane Facial Oil and Brightening Cleanser. It’s also great for anyone that travels frequently, I still have the toner from this set and refill it for trips.
Twelve. Follain Clean Beauty Kit (FEMALE FOUNDER)
This was the first thing I ever tried from Follain, which feels like ages ago. It’s another great clean beauty intro for anyone and also ideal for travel or just to keep in your bag. All really nice products that are gentle and suited for various skin types. Use code JESSANNKIRBY for 15% off at Follain.
Thirteen. Jade Roller
I use my jade roller all the time and it’s one of my favorite gifts to give because it’s something most people won’t necessarily buy for themselves. It’s so soothing at the end of a long day and also the perfect pick me up in the morning. It makes a great gift paired with face masks or something like the kits above. Follain also sells a cute mini jade roller (use code JESSANNKIRBY for 15% off).
Fourteen. Snow Boots
If you’ve got someone on your list that’s gearing up to endure a cold winter, there’s nothing better than Sorel boots. I love this pair because they’re not big and clunky but still super functional and nice looking. Use code TAKE20WINTER for 20% off.
Fifteen. Biossance Rose Vegan Lip Balm
I bought this somewhat recently but it very quickly became a favorite. It makes a great gift (perfect stocking stuffer). I don’t know if it’s pregnancy lips or that this stuff actually really plumps the way it says it does, but when I wear it everyone notices my lips look fuller. Biossance gave me a special coupon code for you guys. Get 20% off anything sitewide with code JESS20. They have some great gift sets.
Sixteen. The Sun and Her Flowers (FEMALE AUTHOR)
Rupi Kaur’s books are some of my go to gifts. Not only are they beautifully written but they’re wonderful to pick up and read over and over again. This hardcover edition of The Sun and Her Flowers is beautiful, and Milk and Honey, Rupi’s first book is also fantastic. ***While I’ve linked to these books on Amazon, if you happen to have a local bookstore, it’s always great to support a local business when buying gifts for the holidays.
Seventeen. Where to Begin & EIGHTEEN. HEART TALK (FEMALE AUTHOR)
Where to Begin is Cleo Wade’s latest book and I read it in one sitting. There are so many beautiful reminders for finding hope in difficult times and using your power to create positive change in the world. Cleo’s first book Heart Talk is one of my favorites to pick up on a day when I just need a little inspiration or encouragement. ***While I’ve linked to these books on Amazon, if you happen to have a local bookstore, it’s always great to support a local business when buying gifts for the holidays.
