Oh to be back in the warm California sun. During our road trip Craig and I stopped for lunch at the Parker Palm Springs. It was everything I expected, but also everything I expected. Anyone else ever get that feeling? You see something so much, when you get there the excitement and anticipation, the wow factor is a little bit meh. That said, it’s a really beautiful hotel, the service was phenomenal and the food was divine, so I recommend checking it out, maybe just don’t look at any photos of it on Instagram before you go. With Coachella only a week away I thought I’d share some festival inspired style. I’ve never been to Coachella, I honestly don’t think I could handle it, Newport Folk Fest is about as much as I can do, but I’m all about live music and discovering new bands. So back to the outfit, I’ve been loving these bohemian style cotton embroidered blouses. This one from Velvet is lightweight and definitely perfect for a day in the sun.  Now if only some of that west coast weather would come this way (as snow falls outside my window, in April).
