SHOP BURGUNDY

This is the second look I styled for my photo shoot with Loren Hope in Providence. The first look, seen here, was how to dress up the Emerson Collar Necklace, and for this outfit I wanted to show how to wear it in a more casual way. Burgundy is one of my favorite color trends for fall and I think it compliments the blues in the necklace really well. I actually found these booties last season (styled here) and they are still a favorite (FYI they run a bit small so order at least a half size up). Burgundy pairs really well with neutral tones and I love the mix of this plaid shirt with the leopard clutchthey compliment each other so well. This is a great weekend outfit that you could also pair with flat booties like these if the thought of walking around in heels is less than appealing. I don’t have any plans for this weekend, except to power through Gone Girl so I can go see it in theaters, I’ve been itching for a movie date! Hope you have a great weekend. xx

I love that Burgundy has come around again as an “it” color for Fall; it’s one of my favorites (all of the jewel tones, really) they set off my red hair and fair skin. Great look – I’m gonna steal it!
