Fall Style: Layered Sweaters and Ankle Boots

How To Wear A Tunic Sweater

One of my favorite things about fall style is layering. As someone who is pretty much always cold, I love nothing more than being able to wear multiple layers of clothing. One of my biggest tips for layering is to mix it up. For example mix a thicker cable knit with a lighter sweater coat as I did here. Don’t be afraid to combine different fabrics, patterns and colors, just make sure they all tie in. Here, my hat ties in the sweater, and the ankle boots tie in with the sweater coat. The bag is the perfect neutral to pull the whole look together.

I’m all about layering and I love comfort so this outfit is perfect! The sweater looks so warm and that jacket is paired so well with it. I love the gold rings and bracelets because despite its small structure “it’s all in the details”.

This jacket is adorable! I’m curious what size you got? I have never ordered from ChicWish and am not sure how their sizes run. Thank you!

      Hi Mary Katherine,
I have the S/M and I think it runs a little big. I can wear a thick sweater underneath and it’s still roomy.

Love this outfit! I’ve been looking for a pair of booties just like these! How do you think the sizing runs?

They run true to size Kelley. I have narrow feet so if your feet are a little on the wider side maybe go up half a size
