Events Happening In Woodstock This Week

Woodstock is a lively place during the summer months! There is so much to see and do while in Woodstock it can be overwhelming. To be sure you don’t miss out on all of the wonderful events happening throughout town this week, we’ve created a schedule of events with everything you need to know to make the most of your time in the village.

Events Happening In Woodstock This Week

Monday, July 31st

Town Hall Theater Movie- Sound of Freedom

Head to the Town Hall Theatre no matter the weather, to enjoy the Monday evening film screening. This week’s movie is Sound of Freedom. Beginning at 7:30pm, enjoy the famous maple popcorn and a fun flick with your friends and family.

Wednesday, August 2nd

Woodstock Market on the Green

Come enjoy Woodstock’s weekly Market on the Green, every Wednesday from 3-6pm. Local vendors set up each week to display everything from fresh flower bouquets to pottery, jewelry, shave ice, pizza, farm fresh produce and so much more! With live music each week, Market on the Green is an opportunity for a lovely stroll through the village center experiencing all that this community has to offer.

Music on the Hill at Artist Tree with Nat Williams & Emily Musty

Woodstock has some wonderful weekly Outdoor Concert series and Music on the Hill at Artist Tree is a favorite. Head to Pomfret, Vermont to enjoy music up on the hill with epic views of Saskadena Six. This week’s performers, Nat Williams & Emily Musty are an acoustic singer-songwriter duo who will have you both dancing and sitting back and relaxing. Bring a chair, blanket and pack a picnic to enjoy music on the hill! Music begins at 6PM and tickets are $10, head to the website to purchase tickets in advance!

Thursday, August 3rd

Art Exploration Center

Head to the Marsh-Billings-National Historical Park to enjoy a family-friendly day creating art at the Art Exploration Center in the Horse Shed at the Artist-in-Residence Studio. Observe art making demonstrations, drawing activities, painting and more! The Art Exploration Center is open from 11am-4pm. Parking is available in the Billings Farm & Museum lot. Feast and Field

Quite possibly our favorite outdoor concert venue, Feast and Field in Barnard, Vermont is one you won’t want to miss while in town. Enjoy the picturesque, quintessential Vermont Fable Farm setting as you enjoy fresh local foods, beverages and excellent live music. Bring your chairs and blankets and set up a spot to enjoy the evening amongst a thriving and lively community. This week’s entertainment, Bandit’s On The Run, is a fun pop folk band from Brooklyn. Tickets are sliding scale $5-25 and kids are free. Gates open at 5:30pm and live music begins at 6pm. Pre-order food and tickets here!

Friday, August 4th

Music By the River with Wesli

Head down to East End Park for the FREE Music by the River concert series from 6-7:30PM (lawn opens at 5:30PM). This week featuring a Haitian Rara Afrobeat band, Wesli. Bring chairs, blankets and a picnic to enjoy amongst the beautiful outdoor amphitheater and riverside setting.

Saturday, August 5th

Trek to the Top at the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park

Hike up to the South Peak of Mount Tom, part of the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park from 10am-4pm on the first Saturday of every month through October. At the top, park rangers will provide fun crafts, snacks and more. The South Peak is accessible via Billings Farm & Museum, Prosper Rd., and Faulkner Park. Magnificent Mammals Day at VINS

Head to VINS in Quechee, Vermont for Magnificent Mammals Day from 10am-5pm. Learn all about the amazing lives of mammals. Meet live mammals, pelts and skulls up close and try other hands-on activities and crafts. Price for the event is included in general admission. Go to the VINS website for more info!

Mt. Tom Farmer’s Market

Every Saturday, May through October head to the Mt. Tom Farmer’s Market for all your fresh produce, local artisan goodies, and flower needs. Open 10am-1pm every Saturday- you won’t want miss the best of our local communities hard-work and passions.

Sunday, August 6th

Antique Tractor Day at Billings Farm & Museum

Antique Tractor Day at Billings Farm & Museum is an annual tradition you won’t want to miss! Enjoy tractor-drawn wagon rides and parades, crafts, cheese samples, a food truck, ice cream and more! From 10am-5pm this is an event the whole family will enjoy! Head to the Billings Farm website for more info.

Tea Time in the Garden at the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday evening! Head to the National Park for Tea Time in the Garden from 4:30-6:30pm. Build a bouquet and take a mini-tour through the garden. Bring a blanket, picnic and enjoy an evening on the lawn amongst the gorgeous surroundings. Make a reservation in advance, tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for seniors and $1 for children.
