Happy Friday. Is it weird that I’m slightly enjoying the rainy weather? Sometimes you just need a day to chill (aka get all the stuff done that you’ve been neglecting because the weather has been so perfect). In the spirit of “TGIF” I wanted to share a look from NYFW that is SO easy and comfortable, basically a no-brainer outfit for those days you just don’t want to think about getting dressed. I’ve worn this shirtdress from French Connection multiple times (see how I styled it on the Loren Hope blog). It’s soft, comfortable, and great alone or layered under a cozy sweater. And, a shirtdress definitely makes the cut on my wardrobe essentials list so if you don’t already have one you love, check out some of the below for great options.

First, I’m loving your style…Love this dress and booties! I just stumbled on your blog via Pinterest, and I’m excited to learn that we both live in Rhode Island (rare in the blogosphere), and both have two rescue pups. Lots in common:)
I’m looking forward to following along going forward.
