 For the first his & hers post of the New Year, Craig and I partnered with Bluefly to share some of our closet staples, the things every person should have on hand in their wardrobe. Now of course this is not an exhaustive list, rather a few of the things that in our minds are timeless pieces you’ll have in your closet forever.

On my list is a classic blazer (one that can take you from desk to drinks), black booties, skinny jeans (or a great pair of denim in the style that fits you well), cashmere, a stripe shirt, an oversize scarf, a classic carry everything tote and a great pair of sunnies. With those staples in your closet, you can’t go wrong.

For Craig, his staples are a leather jacket (the more destructed the better), black jeans (can be dressed up or down), lace up boots (versatile enough for work and weekend), a gray sweater, a leather belt and of course a cool pair of shades.
