Click. Read. Love. + End of Summer Sales

What happened?! Fall arrived overnight and while the weather is absolutely beautiful it’s making us kind of sad about the impending end of summer. Is it just us or does time go by faster every year? There’s some great end of summer sales this weekend, check out our faves at the bottom of this post. Wishing you all a weekend of happiness and relaxation.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

We’re headed into the season where warm, cozy dinner reign supreme. This tarragon chicken with sherry vinegar onions looks mouthwatering.

This video has genius packing ideas for you frequent flyers.

Shameless plug, after some technological difficulties my transitional style haul is finally live on my Youtube channel. Check it out and make sure you subscribe to my channel, a beach wave hair tutorial is going live Sunday! (J)

Check out Clare Vivier’s collab with Wallshoppe on new wallpapers and removable panels!

For all of those peaches? A peach carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum!

So excited to hear that a documentary on Joan Didion is coming to Netflix in October. (C)

Some fun facts to keep in mind when you’re apple picking this year.

This post about networking from Grace is a must read.

I’m in full decorating mode as we start to move on to the master bedroom and office. These floating side tables are to die for, no doubt they are a splurge but I can’t find anything even remotely similar for less. (J)

Rosé pouches? You read that right. They’re like Capri Sun for grown ups.

Here’s your handy fall reading list.

Completely obsessed with this enamel bookshelf from West Elm. (C)

Just in case you’re planning a fall road trip. Here are some New England towns you’ll want to consider visiting.

End of Summer Sales

Too embarrassed to admit how many items I’ve added to my cart from West Elm. Free shipping and up to 70% off w/ code TODAYONLY. Also use code EXTRASALE for 20% off markdowns. Definitely getting some of these pillows for our couch and bedroom and I really want this marble coffee table.

It’s Anthro Day which means 20% off and free shipping for Anthroperks members at Anthropologie (sign up here)! So many good new arrivals including this striped sweater and these jeans.

All BDG jeans are BOGO 50% off at Urban Outfitters.

Get 40% off full price items at Banana Republic (no code needed-discount applied at checkout). This work to weekend look is still a fave.

Those floating bookshelves are so cute but I really think they’d be super easy to make yourself. Just buy the cooper at a local hardware store and a welder, I have one and they are easy to use. Also Ikea has a similar bookcase in the VITTSJO series, in white and black that you could spray paint gold and it would be identical to that West Elm bookcase. Here’s the link: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/series/22584/
I had the coffee table from that series and spray painted it gold and had it for years, but I needed a change and donated it. Gotta love when West Elm has sales though, I always love the buy more save more sale around holidays, usually around black Friday. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
