Happy first snow Friday! I know a lot of us in the Northeast got snow in the last 24 hours and I must confess it makes me so happy. I’m not sure if I’m in the minority or the majority but I LOVE the first snow. Of course it’s now raining so the romance is dead, but it was fun while it lasted. I legit can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving next week. We are getting our new Cafe Appliances in the next few days though, and I am SO excited because we will have them in time for hosting Thanksgiving at our house. I’ll be spending this weekend writing out my Christmas lists and *starting* to do a little decorating (no tree until after Thanksgiving).

    Hi Jess,
It’s great that you posted a link for the southern California fire victims but the Camp Fire up north is the worst fire in California history, continues to burn with only 40% containment, is creating major smoke pollution putting northern California with the worst air quality in the world right now, and the town of Paradise that almost entirely burnt down was primarily composed of people with a low SES and will likely not be able to rebuild with ease. Just wanted to post this so that others can help out the WHOLE state by donating to the American Red Cross.
    Thanks! 🙂

    Hi Jess,

Thank you for including the link to help Southern California fire victims.

Northern California is currently the location of the largest, deadliest, and most destructive fire in CA state history.

The CA wildfire relief fund is helping both Southern and Northern CA in relief efforts.

    Thanks,
