Jess Ann Kirby fills her farmhouse sink with fresh pink dahlias.

I am so relieved the news is finally out. Sharing that I am pregnant has definitely made it feel more real. One thing is for sure, I am feeling the love and it is so appreciated. Right after I announced yesterday I got really sick again, my body was like hang on we’re not done yet. If I’ve learned anything over the last few months, it’s that I have to take it one day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time. Something that has been hard for me to get used to but the only way to get through it. That said I am really itching to get back to work and find even a tiny bit of a routine so here’s to hoping for a few good hours each day. Wishing all of you a great weekend.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

Leave it to Tieghan to create the most delicious looking salad with buffalo chicken.

For locals, Greenlion and The Dahlia Shed are teaming up for another workshop in floral design this September. It’s a really unique experience where you get to tour the dahlia fields (typically closed to the public), learn about harvesting dahlias from grower Amy, tips on floral design from Kim of Greenlion and photography advice from Erin McGinn.

Definitely laughed out loud at this headline. Also, I feel seen. (C)

I’ve been using this Farmacy 15% vitamin C serum for about two weeks and I am obsessed. For every serum purchased, the brand donates $1 to a children’s foundation in northeast Brazil. (J)

Now that it’s officially tomato season, you need to make Ina Garten’s tomato crostini with whipped feta. I like pairing it with slices of sesame bread. (C)

We’ve been looking into get a Roomba because it’s so hard to keep up with the vacuuming these days. There are some really good deals on eBay right now. We also got the Dyson V6 as a backup for the basement and it does not disappoint.

Love the color on these lightweight straight leg crop trousers. Perfect for transitioning into fall. (J)

Has anyone else been watching Euphoria on HBO? The show is so crazy—is this really what high school is like now? It makes our years in school seem pretty vanilla. (C)

The perfect way to use some of those garden zucchinis in this refreshing, summery pasta recipe.

Sarah Sherman Samuel’s rug and pillow collection with Lulu & Georgia is perfection.

We loved this piece from Jill Twiss on how to change the world—it’s simpler than you’d expect.

Wishing you a more peaceful weekend Jess and I hope that you feel good! I don’t know much about this condition, but I do remember some pretty rough mornings my first time. This is probably a bit old fashioned , but I am sure some things are the same. I did keep saltines or Carr’s water crackers by my night table every day and I would munch on them before I even got up. It really helped me. I hope that it may help you too. Sending good vibes❤️

Dear Jess, I am so excited for you and Craig on this adventure… Especially, I am so looking forward to a really “calm” and clean mom lifestyle with style as this is really rare… We are like you guys – not really sure if we want to have children or not and I personally am sick of overreacting mothers where styles suddenly disappear and everything becomes colorful ;-P am sooo looking forward, all the best!
