Happy Friday. I took the morning off and we had a great time at the beach. It was my first official day off of Instagram for the month of July and it was WILD how many times I caught myself reaching for my phone to check it, UGH. I have someone managing my account for me to post content but I’m really interested to see how I feel after a month off. Honestly I’m not in a super celebratory mood this holiday. Nothing says independence like being stripped of bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom (sarcasm). We’ll probably stay close to home and do a low key BBQ. At the same time, don’t let anyone steal your joy.

If you want to celebrate, you should. I know I share it all the time, but this podcast episode from Brene Brown and Karen Walrond is a great listen when you’re struggling to access joy amidst struggle. Wishing you all a great weekend. Take care.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…
