Happy Friday friends. We are getting ready for a few days up north at a lake house we rented in Vermont. Is it weird that I’m most excited for the dogs to be able to swim? We haven’t been able to take them anywhere because we’re always worried it’s going to be too crowded so they haven’t really gone swimming at all this summer. There’s just something about being on a lake in the mountains during the summer that’s good for the soul. I’m really looking forward to unplugging a bit and having some quality family time. We’ve been going a little wild with DIY projects over here, no idea why we do this to ourselves. We redid these nightstands and I love how they came out, and we decided to paint the kitchen walls and put in a tile backsplash, will share the finished project soon. Hope all of you have a great weekend.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

I ordered your Teva Sandals in 8 as soon as I looked at the color. I have a really narrow thin foot and the size was just fine. I adjusted the Velcro and had to make it tighter because of the narrow thin foot. I walked inside and on the back of Only one heel it made a tiny red sore spot as I walked and the strap moved. It’s a bit stiff. I’ve adjusted the Velcro a few times , but the fabric moves on that spot and irritates it. I saw yours today and tried them again because I’ve not returned them yet…… Did your heel strap irritate at all when you walked at first? So bummed out! I really want to keep them. They are so cute!!!!

What a bummer! Mine don’t bother me, I wear the straps a tiny bit loose so they don’t rub.

Watched Palm Springs last night, and it is the perfect comedy for this pandemic. It’s dark, funny, with just enough hopefulness mixed in. I definitely would say, watch it.

Oh my gosh, I just came back from a week in a cabin on Silver Lake in California. I’m sure this is very different than Vermont as it is in the northern California sierras. Hope you have as much good weather and fun as I did!
