Hi friends. How are you doing? How did the week go? We had some warm and sunny weather which was seriously good for the soul. It’s cold and windy again today but the sun is out and that’s something to be happy about. Craig is making serious headway in the addition, finishing the tile and about to install the vanity in the bathroom. So I can’t believe we are so close to the finish line. It feels like we were just talking about this as an idea and now we’re getting closer to it being a reality. I’m going to try and find some time to film an IGTV today with outfit ideas for working from home. I miss making those videos and I could use the inspiration. Sending love to all of you.
If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

If you need a Mother’s Day gift idea, I just got this 5 gemstone necklace from New England based sustainable jewelry company Haverhill Collection. I got one stone for Marin’s birth month, one for Craig and I, and one for each of the pet’s adoption month. You can use code JESS15 for 15% off your order. In addition, the brand is also donating a portion of every sale through Mother’s Day to No Kid Hungry. (J)
Have any of you watched Unorthodox on Netflix? We just started it.
My skin does not love being indoors 24/7 so I started using my NuFace again and I forgot how much I LOVE it. It’s a splurge but when compared to the cost of a micro-current facial it’s about the cost of two at a spa. So I’ll do a full review soon!

I enter your website regularly almost every day. You have some great articles. I Love Your Suggestions. Thanks.
Thank you for posting the article about how to shop ethically right now. It feels like many people are thinking that if they get groceries delivered, they have helped solve a problem. I was on the phone with my brother earlier this week, and he told me he got chastised by a friend for still going into the grocery store. He reminded his friend that someone still has to shop for those groceries; if he is healthy and taking precautions, why shouldn’t he still get his own groceries? I also happen to live in a rural area that doesn’t even have common grocery delivery services. I’m not saying that delivery isn’t the best option for some families–I just think it’s important to think about who does what and who gets what in a crisis like this one. These things seem little but are huge indicators of wealth and privilege!
Could not agree more.
In love with that sofa! You look so cozy. Were you able to find anything about sixpenny and sustainability?
I love Madewell! I buy most of striped shirts from them and I seem to can’t get enough. I branching out to other things like their dresses but I have not considered swimsuits. I must be hiding in a rock! Cute pick and it’s definitely giving me all the summer feels.
