newport-cliff-walk-jess-ann-kirby-09485January has been a hell of a month and we’re kind of relieved it’s almost over. Major kudos to everyone who is still hanging in there with their 2017 goals. We’re doing pretty well but there’s a few of ours that are hanging on for dear life. Hope you’re enjoying the new site, stay tuned for a few new content and design additions over the next few weeks (and sign up for our weekly newsletter here). Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

Jess and I both breezed through this Netflix original series called The OA. Check it out, it’s a little slow to start but once you get into it you’ll realize you watched the whole series in the span of a weekend. (C)

Cause females are strong as hell here’s a little gym inspo for you.

Finally, science has decided how to make the best chocolate chip cookie ever. We can totally support this kind of research.

Laney Crowell just launched The Moment and I’ve already spent hours looking at all of the recipes. (J)

Prepare to have your mind blown, while this doesn’t apply to all households this article raises an interesting point about the female workload.

If you’re looking for a new book consider FINDING, a powerful story about the relationship between a boy and his adoptive mother.

Viva Kate McKinnon!

Just in case you’re nursing what feels like your 27th cold of the season, this recipe for coconut curry chicken noodle soup will cure what ails ya.

Given the positive feedback from my post on blogging I wanted to share this one from Grace, she shares a lot of great tips and advice. (J)

Five ingredient dinners? Yes please!

Make them listen up! Forget tweeting or Facebooking here’s the best way to get your local representatives to listen.

This DIY fabric wall hanging is absolutely gorgeous.

I reallyyyyy want a Canada Goose jacket and this in depth review of the Trillium vs Shelburne Parka from Krista is super helpful. (J)

Annie’s mac n’ cheese is pretty darn good, here’s a few clever ways to turn it (or any boxed version) into a more well rounded meal.

Deep thought for the weekend: what makes your life meaningful? Take this quiz to find out.

I loved this post from Julia. She’s in a unique position to speak out about the decisions being made in our government and I’m so proud to call her my friend. (J)

Dooooo iiiiiiit. You will not regret getting a Canada Goose coat. I bought the Kensington Parka because it looks great in a lot of situations, I get asked all the time about it on the trail and while running errands. And it keeps me warm to at least -22F (which was last week)!

I know! You’re so right I hear that all the time from people who have them and as someone who is ALWAYS cold it’ll be a worthwhile investment. Thanks for sharing you’re helping me bite the bullet and buy one!
