Doing our best to try and slow down the pace of summer just for a bit. Thinking about instituting some sort of digital detox in the process too. Wishing all of you a great weekend.

Weekend Sales
Of course you probably know the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is going on. I shared my ten picks here (I also did a try-on of my ordered and shared what I’m keeping and returning in my Instagram highlights under #NSale).
My one beauty purchase from the sale was this Skin Inc Tri-Light that’s supposed to help with fine lines, skin elasticity, collagen production, reduction of scars and more. It has RAVE reviews so I splurged on it and I’ve heard great things about the benefits of using red, blue and yellow light therapy.
It’s also Anthropologie’s Anthro Day where loyalty members get 20% off their purchase. All you need to do is sign up here if you’re not already a member.
I love this dress (wore it to a dinner last week). It runs big so I recommend sizing down, I have it in xxs.
I also just ordered this faux fur throw in white (I have it in blush). It’s super cozy, really well made (I’ve washed it a ton) and looks awesome as a throw on your couch or bed.
On the faux fur throw, how do you wash it?? i’ve been scared to because it says dry clean only, but mine smells so bad from my dogs and I don’t really want to pay for dry clean!
Honestly nothing special. I dont know why it says dry clean only I’ve washed it a ton. I just do regular cycle, cold water and tumble dry medium. Sometimes you have to untangle half way through because it gets a little tied up.
I just started reading your blog, so I’m not totally sure what you’d like, but maybe try Ponce City Market or Sweet Auburn Market in Atlanta. For dinner, I’ve heard Gunshow is excellent and I personally love King + Duke. They seem to make foods I don’t even normally like good.
