After a rainy weekend, we’ve had perfect October weather this week. The trees are just starting to turn (Jess ventured up north where the foliage is already stunning). It feels nice to enjoy the crisp cool air and our favorite restaurants that are finally a bit less crowded. We’ll be enjoying the outdoors this weekend (and Jess will be cheering on Tommy at his first home game, Go Pats)!

So wait, the secret to lasting love is just kindness? Fascinating read on why some couples make it and some don’t.

Oh the never-ending quest for the perfect mascara. Here’s some food for thought.

We heart our denim around here, so needing to know how to clean it without ruining our favorite pairs is essential. Here’s a how-to guide.

These photos of Pam in Paris wearing Chanel are stunning. (J)

If you love sleek, modern furniture you’ll be psyched to know that Dwell is collaborating with Target on a furniture line.

Guys have you heard of arm knitting? I desperately want to try it so I can make a chunky knit throw for my bed. Watching a video of someone doing it is so cool! (C)

These pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes with whipped maple butter are what fall is all about.

Apparently I’m not the only one, I feel like Netflix’s movie selection has been subpar of late. I love their shows but sometimes I’m just looking for a great flick to watch with my husband. (C)

That chunky knit blanket thingie is so cosy looking. Is it worth learning to do just for that though? Bear in mind I am pretty lazy 🙂

I’m game to try! From the video it looks pretty easy. I’ll keep you posted though, I could end up tangled up in my own yarn in my living room. Plus those chunky knits can be pricey.

Google TV (here in KC we have Google Fiber almost everywhere) is the bomb! Vudu is where it’s at for movies because Netflix (as you know) only has great tv series’.
