Ireland Travel Diary, Jess Ann Kirby along the Wild Atlantic Way at Sunset in New Quay

I drove by one of our local farm stands yesterday and they already had trees out. Usually you can’t find a tree anywhere on this island until after Thanksgiving. It all does seem a bit rushed this year, maybe because Thanksgiving is so late and then it’s basically three weeks until Christmas. I’m trying to remember to appreciate these last few months of our family as it is now, since everything will change soon. We’ve been a bit non stop with the addition and work so I’m excited for a few days of food and relaxation for the holiday (although knowing Craig he’ll be in the garage banging nails). After driving by those trees yesterday I’m very tempted to go get one, too soon? Wishing all of you a happy weekend.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of the week…

I can’t see how decorating for Christmas will take away from your Thanksgiving celebrations. It’s still a time for family, lots of delicious food, sharing love and giving thanks for all we have. And, it will be one more thing done before the rush.
