Back in Vermont this morning after a quick trip to RI for, among other things, a much needed hair appointment. Felt good to just chop it off and start fresh. Everyone in my house is still battling this awful unknown virus that seems to be hitting a lot of other households (especially with little ones) and the only thing I want for Christmas is for all of us to be healthy. Really hoping we can get there by Thanksgiving. We don’t have any plans for the holiday but it would be really nice for everyone to feel like themselves again.
I started Maid last night after so many of you convinced me I should (honestly held off because I wasn’t sure I could handle it right now). Well I sobbed through the first two episodes (actually turned it off halfway through the second) but it is incredible and I couldn’t stop watching. It also prompted me to search for the nearest women’s shelter in Vermont so I can find out what they need as we approach the holidays. Sounds like it did the same for many of you. Wishing all of you a good weekend. xx
