CANDY COLORED ACCESSORIES FOR SPRING

So let’s be real here, I’m no Jared Leto, and last night’s Oscars left me with some MAJOR hair envy. Seriously I mean his ombre is SO good, and his beachy waves, you just can’t get that with a curling iron. In all honesty though this samurai hair I have going was a bit inspired by his red carpet look at the Golden Globes where he rocked an awesome half bun (which also happened to be my everyday hairstyle circa 1990s). I think I can get used to this updated take on the half pony, and it’s actually a really good way to deal with my unfortunate bangs which at this point are barely bangs but still aren’t long enough to stop driving me mentally insane. So March has proved that winter is still here, and with somewhat of a vengeance, and that drove me to purchase yet another winter coat, but I feel like I will get a lot of wear out of this baby. Spring is all about pretty pastels and bright colors and this coat paired with a pink sweater, candy colored statement necklace by Capwell + Co and this amazing mint Brahmin bag I almost forget it’s 25 degrees out! At least that’s what I keep telling myself. Happy Monday! xx

I’m totally with you on the ‘half up/half down’ hair, that was exactly how I did my hair all through high school! I love this updated version so much more though. Oh, and those boots? Perfect.

Seriously, his ombre is ON POINT.
He was dreamy. I loved the whole look AND how he thanked his mom. PS–Love your mint bag.
