The Best Denim Cutoff Shorts

It was so nice to be able to break out these new Levi’s 501 cutoffs in Panama (wearing size 25). One of my absolute favorite things about summer is waking up and throwing on my favorite denim cutoffs. The more worn the better which is why I fell in love with this pair. After their first wash they felt like a pair I’ve had for years. I was honestly pleasantly surprised by the fit (and the price!). I haven’t worn Levi’s in years because I didn’t like how they fit me but they have stepped up their game big time (I just ordered these jeans and I LOVE them). A word of caution about sizing, the different styles are a bit all over the place, I was a 25 in these shorts and a 24 in these jeans, you just have to experiment a little bit. But enough about that, on to this look from Panama. This was our second to last day and we walked around Casco Viejo near the French Embassy. I had to try an ice slushy and it was SO good. I got coconut flavor and I think I finished it in about under a minute. Cold and refreshing on a hot day. I can’t say enough good things about this striped blouse, it’s the perfect slouchy fit and looks good with everything (also styled it here and here). And it makes a great cover-up for the beach or pool. Pam and I are taking over the Liketoknow.it Instagram today with photos from our trip so make sure you follow along. Lots more photos coming this week including my travel diary.

My Favorite Cutoff Shorts

I brought a few different pairs of cutoffs to Panama since they’re really one of my favorite things to throw on in hot weather. Here’s a round-up of the best brands and styles that I love for summer (or even spring if it ever gets warm enough).
